Warranty Policies

  • In accordance with the Ministry of Commerce regulations, the warranty for electrical appliances is valid for two years from the date of purchase.
  •  The warranty on gas equipment is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
  • Modern Additions Establishment provides its services within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • The customer is responsible for the technician’s outreach fees after the first year from the date of purchase within Riyadh.
  • For warranty claims outside Riyadh, the customer is responsible for all expenses (technician outreach fees, transportation, airfare for areas 300 km from Riyadh, accommodation, overtime pay, and any other costs that may arise).
  • Refrigeration equipment must be sent to the establishment’s maintenance center.
  • Before operating any equipment, the operating and periodic maintenance procedures in the manual included with the equipment must be followed. This is a prerequisite for the warranty. If the customer requires technical support, they should contact us via WhatsApp at +966 54 367 0600.
  • All electrical appliances will be inspected before delivery to the customer, and the customer must sign a receipt confirming the safety of the equipment received.
  • To minimize the possibility of malfunctions and ensure the continued efficient operation of refrigeration units and ice makers, it is recommended to ensure adequate airflow in the area and to maintain a safe distance between the wall and the unit. The room temperature should be between 25-27°C, as refrigeration equipment is affected by room temperature.
  • The warranty does not cover external accessories.
  • The warranty does not cover consumable parts.

Cases not covered by the warranty:

  • If the equipment has undergone external maintenance.
  • If the equipment is operated incorrectly (such as using a high-pressure gas regulator or operating the equipment with an incorrect electrical current resulting from the customer providing incorrect information regarding the voltage (1-phase – 3-phase) 220-380V).
  • Using the equipment in a manner contrary to the operating and maintenance instructions, which constitutes misuse.
  • Malfunctions resulting from failure to adhere to the periodic cleaning schedule for refrigeration equipment (filters and condensers) and other equipment and parts that require periodic cleaning to ensure their efficiency.
